Sean Johnson
President

Sean is a serial entrepreneur, experienced arts administrator, fundraising advisor, and professional musician.

Over the past decade, his focus on customer experience and revenue has driven exceptional business results both as a key employee/executive and trusted consultant.

In 2022, he founded Mesa Creative Solutions with the mission to advance arts organizations and cultural institutions by building technology-based, repeatable systems and processes. Currently, he works with multiple Santa Fe nonprofit organizations to maximize operational efficiency—growing revenue, reducing overhead, and increasing impact.

In 2020, he co-founded Wigler Group, a business-to-business (B2B) sales development agency that provides prospecting as a service and delivers qualified new business opportunities to high-ticket professional service clients. As Chief Operating Officer, Sean was tasked with the operation and development of the firm. As head of sales, he grew revenue from a 5-figure run rate to a near 7-figure run rate over the course of 18 months.

Sean’s experiences in business development and go-to-market strategy have proven immensely valuable for his nonprofit clients.

In 2018, he joined the fundraising team at New Mexico School for the Arts, the State’s only statutorily-created, statewide high school providing pre-professional arts training alongside rigorous academics. As Director of Communications, he assisted the co-founder and Executive Director with multiple external affairs campaigns that resulted in millions of dollars in capital outlays to construct a residential dormitory for boarding students. In March 2020, Sean developed an omni-channel online campaign that surpassed its fundraising goal of $300,000, raising $460,000 in just over two weeks.

Sean resides in Santa Fe, NM with his wife Emma, their daughter Fionnuala, and bernadoodle Benji.
